What are you on about? There was no movie made of Hitchhikers Guide.
Never.

Might as well put it here - about to finally get some Motorhead and thought I'd see if there's any sort of consensus on the top three albums to get, other than Ace of Spades. Wretch? - thought you'd probably be happy to weigh in if you see this.

Well I'd say anything with Fast Eddie and Philthy on it, Ace Of Spades obviously, but also Overkill and Bomber. Good and greasy, nasty rock n roll heavy metal.

I'm sure other chaps like Crom would go for something newer which is fair enough, you can't go too far wrong with most albums really!

Just avoid 1916, it's appalling. Iron Fist, along with the 2 Wretch mentioned.

I fucking love that album! He said, predicable as ever. A couple of full on heavy tracks, and some Chuck Berry rock n roll. Good call on Iron Fist though.

I cant think of an album of theirs I don't love. Snake Bite Love and Hammered are their weakest for me, but they still have a couple of proper corkers, and nothing I could describe as awful.

I hate the production but that's just me. I thought the tracks were bland in general, some were truly awful, particularly this lolfest:

Incidentally, Overkill was released 35 years ago yesterday. Now you know.

1916 is one of my favourite Motorhead albums.

Hang on, have you mentioned this before?

New opinions will require the new opinion tariff.

I think may have mentioned Mr Clarke in passing.

That's quite good. Fighting for your country is no lolfest.

It seems weird in isolation, but in the context of the album it is crackin, and totally unexpected still, even after listening to the album for 24 years (!!!) or whatever it is now. Love it.

After the initial shock, I just laughed through it. It's awful! Nothing worse than when shouty vocalists try to get all earnest and heartfelt.
