Testament were pretty mediocre after Practice What You Preach

Fixed, lad.

Regarding them playing The New Order in full, yeah great. On paper anyway. I saw their show in London a few years back where they played The Legacy and TNO in full, back to back. They were messy, seemed very under-rehearsed and well, it just didn't work. Compared to their reunion show a year or so earlier ( which was one of the best shows I've ever been to ), it was pretty shit. The encores of that night were new (at the the time) tracks from The Formation Of Damnation and they were STORMING.

To be honest, you don't really get DiGorgio doing much on those Testament records. Might as well be any old session player on there. Not particularly prominent in the mix either. Christian had the better bass lines on the Testament records.

We were talking about the DiGiorgio involvement, but everything post PWYP is shit.

'The Gathering' is a good, 'return-to-form', modern thrash album. I actually quite like Lombardo's performance on it, at least when compared to Hoglan's (being the other big name ring-in) performance (truth be told, I think Tempesta had a better performance on 'Low'). DiGiorgio's presence is negligible when all is said and done. And as I have mentioned before, I really, really like 'Low'.

Because when i got there it was the bouncers giving the the blow jobs. Which is like Testament, do what they promise and quite well, but it's never quite been what i want.

The wife's ordered me this ready for my birthday.
Actually, she doesn't know she's ordered it for me yet. I'll tell her later.

Yeah, they just dropped the price, so I guess they were having difficulty shifting it. It'd always been about a fiver so I hadn't got it yet. Brilliant film.
