I'd like to say I've met her, but I actually just stood there and smiled stupidly at her before mumbling something about "liking her in Maniac", turning 45 degrees and coming face to face with Ingrid Pitt.

True.
It was the first memorabilia fair I'd attended and had no idea how they worked. I thought all the celebs would be in one special VIP area but they were scattered everywhere, as I found out when I turned down the first aisle and almost tripped over the two of them.
I enjoy Moore's Bond films for the most part, he was a different kind of Bond, and suited the tone of those films, but he wasn't necessarily the kind of Bond I wanted to see.
Connery has long been my favourite. There were still those OTT moments with the puns and gadgets depending on the film, but he was believable as both charming & intelligent and as a cold blooded, double hard bastard when required. Plus, even the more ridiculous villains, such as Wint and Kidd were memorable.
After that, Dalton and Craig are tied.
Craig's films have been hit and miss for me, although he is excellent, and Casino Royale is one of my favourites of all time.
Dalton was underrated, again, believable as a more hard edged, cold blooded assassin type.
I wish he had done more films, rather than bringing in the unbearably smug and slimy Brosnan.
The only film he made that I'm bothered with is Goldeneye. The rest can get fucked, especially Die Another Day, which is one of the most loathsome and tacky movies of all time.
Lazenby wasn't exactly a great actor, although he had the luck of being in one of the better films.

Re: ( Fill in the blank ) JUST DIED.
Yeah, I've always liked Lazenby's Bond (despite his accent being so poor that his dialogue in its entirety was overdubbed), and his film's great fun (and has Diana Rigg, so there's that). I hate to badmouth him when he's not even in the ground yet, but Moore was appalling in the role - even he admitted he was too old for it, his first one being at age 45 - and his Bond films were truly awful. The only one I can watch is Live And Let Die, which is barely a Bond movie at all, more a blaxpoitation movie with him in it.
Craig for me, closely followed by Connery.

I liked that first Casino Royale where there were lots of Bonds including Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress & David Niven. I like Tomorrow Never Dies for Michelle Yeoh.
Exactly. His era was a hop, skip and jump away from being Carry On and he was perfect for it.

This.
I thought Brosnan was a decent enough Bond but his films got worse as they went on. Especially the last one he did.
