 Re: The TV Thread.
Maybe. I was spoiled by Punisher MAX beforehand (if you haven't read it, do - think Punisher Warzone's Castle, but good. Sample line: "I'm twisting his leg off like a drumstick when I realize I'm frightening the kid.") so might have had unrealistic expectations, especially for TV.

 Re: The TV Thread.
Got a hold of the Hammer House Of Horror TV shows the other day.
Not entirely sure how "The House That Bled" is supposed to be scary as it came across like an Aldi version of Amityville.

Cobra Kai.
TV show exclusive to YouTube Red (but I managed to score it from a torrent) in which an older and more down on his luck Johnny Lawrence starts up his own Cobra Kai dojo whilst wrestling with the past - kind of like the person at school who was popular yet then became nothing once school ended. Ten episodes in the first series and I've already binged on five of them - it's not bad, so far its verging on Four Fists.

Neither of them can act worth a damn.

 Re: The TV Thread.
Romper Stomper.
Seriously, they've done a TV show of this, available on BBC iPlayer and an Australian streaming service called Stan. It's alright, I suppose. Not as mental as the movie, seems to be more modern take on Far Right and Left gangs in that there is more social media usage and propaganda as opposed to giving each other a slap, although it does happen. The lass who played Gabe in the movie makes a return (I still would) as does the guys who played Cackles and Magoo respectively.

 Re: The TV Thread.
Is it a follow up to the film then, as opposed to a remake?

Solaris wrote: Is it a follow up to the film then, as opposed to a remake? Yeah, it's been billed as a follow-up to the film, the events of which are mentioned and alluded to but without going on a whole hog nostalgia trip. For obvious reasons, neither Russell Crowe or Daniel Pollock reprise their roles.
