Re: Best Japanese albums?
I've recently revisited the first three Loudness records & I have to say that I really struggle with them. Even 1983's well respected "The Law Of Devil's Land" album doesn't do much for me. They're still much more appealing than BABYMETAL though.

I recently got into Loundness and Anthem (Thunder In the East and Self Titled Respectively).
Whilst I feel like Loudness might just edge it in terms of indevidual songs, I much prefer the Anthem album as a whole.
Pre breakup Anthem rules. I'm not really a fan of their 1985 and 1992 albums but everything else they did in between was either really solid or fucking great.
Another cool album is Sniper's Open the Attack. Imagine a Japanese version of Riot circa Fire Down Under, if perhaps a bit heavier.
