Is that really Was, or do my eyes deceive me?

SOLARIS: Icon is only 50 minutes. How many songs do you think should have been cut?

My main problem with Icon is the production, especially the drums and rhythm guitar sound. The vocals and leads are fine.

2 or 3. It feels a lot longer than that TBH, I'd have put it well over an hour.

Agreed about the production, something always struck me as not sounding quite right about it. They record the guitars clean and add the effects after, maybe that's it.

I haven't heard the original (I don't really care about Type), but Nick's performance is definitely interesting. I think that the occasional rasp he uses here sounds even more youthful than he one used during the 2009-2012 period.

That final note looked a bit painful though!
