This is a great service you guys seem to be running here. Can anyone find me a copy of Tau Moe's Remembering The Songs Of Our Youth for less than £100?

'Ritual' is 5/5. Farrell probably bums everything and everyone indiscriminately, in the name of cosmic love.

The post reunion albums are perfectly listenable and kind of groovy but not great (see also Helmet and too many other '90s groups who can't let it lie).

Yeah, but their reformation albums are better than Helmet's imo.

Fucking hell! I've looked for that so many times that I didn't expect to find it on Amazon, I must have not even bothered to look. It must have become available again recently. £15 is still a bit much for an album but I think I shall be spending a bit of the money I get for Christmas on that. Thanks!

Yes. Their only 5/5 album (I haven't heard the most recent one but I sincerely doubt it comes near RDLH).

'Nothing's Shocking' is probably a 5 too. It sounds more 'elemental' and startling (in an almost Young Gods-esque way) productionwise than 'Ritual' but is less innovative songwise.

I thought it was quite dull, to be honest. The live/debut album only marginally less so. Still, the worst JA album > Porno For Pyros after the debut.

^^yeah, and the Porno For Pyros debut was nothing special either. it was just a good start to a career that ultimately went nowhere.

I saw P.F.P live in 1993, when there was a buzz about them, and the consensus was that they were better live than on record, but the album was good and hopefully the next one will be the motherlode.

And any that you didn't think about too,

I had a good think about buying a record yesterday. Thought about it a bit again today.

I like the debut. It's aged horribly but it's still enjoyable, even if it is just a watered down JA.

I thought about that album during 2012. I'd like to forget about it I think.
