All rewatches:

Basic Instinct 4/5

Total Recall (1990) - 3.5 (very good but time hasn't been as kind to it as other Verhoeven's. I'd rather watch Showgirls nowadays)

Repo Man - 2.5 (overrated as hell)

Best Defense 1/5

Red Heat 2.5/5

Lincoln 4/5

Nothing But Trouble - 2/5

The Burbs - 2.5

I remember watching Total Recall drunk at the age of about 19 with a friend who was a confirmed virgin. In the scene with the woman with three tits, he asked which two we reckoned were real.

Saw 'Thor: Ragnarok' last night with the missus. It was enjoyable enough - much more in line with 'Guardians...' (which it seems like it is on a collision course with in the not too distant future) and 'Spiderman: Homecoming' which was a nice change up, though if the rest of these films (which I will be corralled into seeing) with all the quipping could become tiresome. Obviously it stuck to all the superhero film tropes that you'd expect, and Goldbum was too much Golblum. I'd say a solid 3.

:D

Good film, just not the film it was in the early 90's.

To say it has aged is an understatement. Still great though.

The problem is the overuse of sets. I'm watching Demolition Man now, which was made only 3 years later, and it looks much better.

Not a better film though of course but quite underrated.

Annabelle Creation: this is the point where the Conjuring expanded universe really enters into Marvel territory. Not only is it pretty much a direct rip of The Conjuring in style, it also has a few crossover moments. There is also the most absurdly attractive I've probably ever seen in a 'serious' role. She is bad too.

Overall I'd say it's easily superior to the first Annabelle, but it isn't to much and is a bit on the dull side despite having a few OK moments. 2.5/5.

Eventually watched 'Less Than Zero' even though I had the tape in the late 80's. I was already 26 so didn't watch teen films in fact I didn't watch movies a lot in those days. Soundtrack > Film but Jami cute!

I've been meaning to rewatch that. Thanks for reminding me. The book is a lot better though.

I'd imagine that there'd be a demand for both TBH.

Demand is one thing, rights are another. I have no idea about the Silence of The Lambs in that regard.
