I thought The Killer had a better soundtrack at least, but otherwise I have no desire to watch it again.

Flowers of Shanghai - Not sure about this one. On one hand it seems like a slow paced subtle drama that definitely had something going on, but on the other hand it's hardly emotionally evocative.

That director has a slow 'dry' style. It is an acquired taste. I'm not a fan of it. His work is often highly praised though.

Dragon Inn - 1967

Martial arts movie that at first seemed a bit ''stiff'' when it came down to the fight scenes and eventually became rather unrealistic and over the top. Movie could have been a bit shorter too, but overall it was enjoyable enough.

It's a pretty good film. Goodbye Dragon Inn is an interesting companion piece. Very slow though and not an action film. Look it up!

Will do. I just just The Blue Kite again and it's good, but I think it could be quite better. Some of the soundtracks didn't exactly fit too properly and at times the movie dragged on a bit.

Watched 2 unboring new movies - Honest Thief (Neeson) & Greenland (Butler). Lots of action & predictability,

Downloaded Andrei Rublev again. Will watch it tomorrow probably.
